'વિશ્વની સાત અજાયબીઓ'
'વિશ્વની સાત અજાયબીઓ' શબ્દ સદીઓથી પ્રચલિત છે. પરંતુ દરેકની પાસે કેટલીક સામાન્ય સ્થાનો સિવાય, તેમની સૂચિ ના હતી. ઘણી નવી શોધો અને બાંધકામો સામે આવ્યા છે જે વિશ્વની અજાયબીઓ તરીકે ગણાવામાં સક્ષમ હતા.
વિશ્વના 'ન્યુ 7 વન્ડર્સ' ધ્યાનમાં લેવા ૨૦૦૦માં સ્વિટ્ઝર્લન્ડમાં એક અભિયાન શરૂ કરાયું હતું. અને 2004 સુધી તે ચાલુ રહ્યું. પ્રાપ્ત 177 નામાંકનમાંથી, યુનેસ્કોના પ્રતિનિધિ સાથે 24-12-2005 ના રોજ વિશ્વના જાણીતા આર્કિટેક્ટ્સ અને નિષ્ણાતોની પેનલ દ્વારા 77 ને પસંદ કરવામાં આવ્યા. સંપૂર્ણ તપાસ બાદ, 1-1-2006 ના રોજ, આ 77 નામાંકનોમાંથી 21 સત્તાવાર અંતિમ વિજેતાઓની સૂચિ જાહેર કરવામાં આવી. આ એકવીસની યાદી ને વોટિંગ માટે ખુલ્લી મુકવામાં આવી. મોટા પ્રમાણમાં વોટિંગ દ્વારા પ્રતિક્રિયા આવી (લગભગ 100 મિલિયન) અને ૨૧ માંથી ૭ ફાઇનલિસ્ટને 7-7-2007 ના રોજ લિસ્બન, પોર્ટુગલમાં વિશ્વના 'ન્યુ 7 વન્ડર' તરીકે જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યા. આ મતદાનમાં પસંદ થયેલી સાત અજાયબીઓ નીચે પ્રમાણે છે.

The phrase 'Seven Wonders of World' has been prevalent over centuries. But everyone had their list, barring a few common places. Many new discoveries and constructions had come up which were capable of being considered as Wonder of the world.
A campaign was launched in 2000 A.Din Switzerland, to consider 'New7Wonders' of the world.and continued till 2004. From among the 177 nominations received, 77 were shortlisted by experts panel of world's renowned architects with a representative from UNESCO on 24-12-2005. After thorough investigation, on 1-1-2006 a list of 21 official finalists was declared from these 77 nominations. Massive online voting responded (about 100 million) and 7 out of 21 finalists were declared in Lisbon, Portugal on 7-7-2007, as 'New7Wonders' of the world. These new 7 wonders of the world voted are -
